Inspired by Itten
Oil on Canvas.
The first painting is a variation. I love the colours and the textures in the paint, but true to constructive critisism, there is no focus point and the eye does not know where to look or be drawn to.
The second painting is obvious as to where the eye is drawn. Shades of blue, green and mouve minipulated to make the eye focus towards the centre. Work compleat. But in the near future, I will surely add another one or two.

Pixilation
I tried 3 other attempts at pointalisim and failed, so I took a photo at Lake Eppalock, and pixelated it in photoshop, shown in fig 3. Love how it turned out. Fig 1 is a process picture half way and Fig 2 is my finished Oil on Wood 13x23.5 painting. It took 60 hours to finish due to over 150 colour variations mixed and used and the fact that it was applied with the tip of a blunt wood nail. Im very happy with the result.
